Prior to establishing Tranzon-Edwards, Kusztelak, 44, developed real estate auction marketing programs for close to a decade at Sheldon Good & Company. During that time, Kusztelak’s experience included every significant type of asset in markets throughout the country including: a 350-home bankruptcy portfolio in New Jersey; 32 luxury ski condominiums in Utah; a golf course and hotel portfolio in Michigan; a 250-acre buffalo ranch in Illinois; a Kenwood mansion a few blocks from the home of then U.S. Senator Barack Obama; as well as numerous other commercial, industrial, hospitality and residential properties throughout Chicago and the Midwest.
Despite the most recent highly publicized auctions, Kusztelak believes the Chicago auction market is actually underserved, and he expects to grow the firm quickly, adding eight to 10 brokers over the next 18 months. It is one of the best ways to attain real estate for sale.
