Applied Behavior Analysis Program Now Available at Antioch University New England

Antioch University New England now offers a fourteen month certificate program for working professionals interested in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the primary, evidence-based, treatment for autism.

(Vocus/PRWEB ) November 3, 2009 -- Professionals interested in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders can now study Applied Behavior Analysis at Antioch University New England.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the primary, evidence-based, treatment for autism. Antioch University New England’s new ABA certificate program is open to people with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The post-bachelor’s track is designed to meet the educational requirements needed to become an assistant behavior analyst. The post-master’s track is designed to meet the educational requirements needed to become a behavior analyst.

The program can be completed in fourteen months and is designed for working professionals. Classes meet during summer intensives and continue through the fall and spring semesters meeting one weekend a month. A work-based independent field study or an internship is also required.

The program starts in July. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, although early application is encouraged due to small class size. For more information, please contact Shelley Viles at 603-283-2145.
