LEVEL Studios Appoints Chief Operating Officer

LEVEL Studios, an independent digital agency, today announced that the company has appointed Paul Rappoport as Chief Operating Officer. Leveraging extensive experience in finance, production, business development and international business, Paul will focus on leading the company's growth strategy. Based out of LEVEL | LA, Paul will be responsible for the agency's three studios and manage company-wide operations, finance and human resources.

San Luis Obispo, CA (PRWEB) November 3, 2009 -- LEVEL Studios, an independent digital agency, today announced that the company has appointed Paul Rappoport as Chief Operating Officer. Leveraging extensive experience in finance, production, business development and international business, Paul will focus on leading the company's growth strategy. Based out of LEVEL | LA, Paul will be responsible for the agency's three studios and manage company-wide operations, finance and human resources.

Paul joins LEVEL with a proven track record of executive leadership for some of the most respected brands in the world. Most recently Vice President of Strategic Planning for Activision Blizzard Inc.'s Worldwide Studios, Paul helped drive acquisition of several game development studios and partnered with Activision's Studio management on operational initiatives. Prior to this role, Paul worked for Electronic Arts Inc. as Vice President of Worldwide Studios Finance.

Before entering the video gaming space, Paul held several roles over 10 years with The Walt Disney Company. Most recently Vice President of Finance and Operations for DisneyToon Studios, Paul partnered across financial and production management to lead development of animated family entertainment for theatrical, home entertainment and network television distribution. Paul also worked in several senior analyst roles for Mattel, Inc.

Paul grew up in San Diego and earned an economics degree from the University of California San Diego and an MBA in Finance and International Business from Boston University. He currently lives in Manhattan Beach, CA with his wife and two sons.
