NASN Radio Hits iTunes Top 25 Powered by BAM

National Association of School Nurses radio show resonates with iPod audiences

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 1, 2009 -- NASN Radio, the web radio program focused on advocacy for student health and professional development of school nurses, hit iTunes' top 25 list. The show, produced through collaboration with the National Association of School Nurses and BAM Radio Network, hit number 22 on the iTunes Education K-12 chart on the Apple Inc. site.

The program, which launched with a discussion on the critical role of school nurses, is hosted by Amy Garcia, Executive Director of the National Association of School Nurses, and produced and syndicated by Jackstreet Media Ventures LLC. Currently featured on the iTunes education channel, the program can be downloaded at http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=328566995 or streamed at http://www.nasn.org or www.bamradionetwork.com.

"This is a great way to get information out about health issues that impact all children , not just to school nurses, but to the entire education community and parents also," said Amy Garcia. " iTunes also provides a terrific opportunity for school nurses to build a library of timely, relevant information," said Garcia.

"The interviews on NASN Radio offer a wealth of information," said Rae Pica, cofounder, BAM Radio Network. "I'm so pleased that the messages are being well received, and that iTunes makes them even more accessible."
