After 19 years with U.S. Food Service, Pieper left his position as Vice-President of Sales and took on the role of Vice-President of Texas Meat Packers in 2002. A graduate of Texas Tech University and a background in farming and ranching, Pieper became a part of Texas Meat Packers when his friend and founder, Gary Meixelsperger acquired his first plant.
