Texas Meat Packers Names New President

Texas Meat Packers today announced the appointment of John Pieper to President. As President of Texas Meat Packers Pieper will be overseeing all of the company's daily operations including sales and production.

After 19 years with U.S. Food Service, Pieper left his position as Vice-President of Sales and took on the role of Vice-President of Texas Meat Packers in 2002. A graduate of Texas Tech University and a background in farming and ranching, Pieper became a part of Texas Meat Packers when his friend and founder, Gary Meixelsperger acquired his first plant. "My goal, as President, is for Texas Meat Packers to become the premier beef and chicken processor in the country. And with our excellent reputation in the industry, I see this as a feasible goal."
