In the first quarter 2009 Value's profits improved by $76,000. Sales increased almost 10% to $600,000 for the same period.

This last quarter continues a profit trend that started in 2005. Value was profitable in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Value has shown consistent improvement in sales and bottom line. Value achieved these results despite the difficult economy and increased regulations that proved costly to impliment. Credit is given to tight financial control and consistent use of the "nice or necessary" test when considering use of cash. Value reports one exception to that rule. Spending to support LOs is always a priority.
