Companies Announce Plans to Headquarter at Desert Canyon Business Park in Las Vegas

The corporate headquarters of Cannery Casino Resorts, an office for Nigro Development, a headquarters for ChoiceCenter Worldwide, and an office for Dr. Vincent Nalbone are among the buildings under construction now at Desert Canyon Business Park, Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) July 10, 2006 -- Cannery Casino Resorts, which owns the Cannery and operates the Rampart Casino, is planning a new corporate headquarters building at Nigro Development’s Desert Canyon, a five-acre, $40 million, mixed-use business park at the I-215 Beltway and Russell Road.

Nigro Construction recently completed a 16,444-square-foot shell building for Cannery Casino Resorts.

Bill Wortman, principal of Cannery Casino Resorts, said, “We are all very excited about moving into our corporate headquarters. This new facility will help streamline our continuing efforts of expanding our company."

 
  • Nigro Construction, Nigro Development and Nigro Properties plan to move their corporate headquarters to a 25,000-square-foot building at Desert Canyon Business Park in the first quarter of 2007, said president Todd Nigro. The contract amount is $6 million.

 
  • Another company moving to Desert Canyon is the ChoiceCenter Worldwide, which holds personal effectiveness workshops. ChoiceCenter has acquired a 7,000-square-foot building and completed all interior improvements. The contract amount was $2 million.

 
  • In addition, Dr. Vincent Nalbone M.D. F.A.C.S, a board certified facial plastic surgeon, has acquired a 6,000-square-foot building at Desert Canyon for $2 million.

“The Desert Canyon development has been extremely successful,” Todd Nigro said. “We are attracting a mix of physicians and professional corporations. Our 56,000-square-foot building is more than 50 percent leased and we are breaking ground on another three buildings totally 75,000 square feet in the next 90 days. Only one 21,000-square-foot building remains to be sold.”    

Adjacent to Southern Hills Hospital, Desert Canyon Business Park combines outdoor courtyards, desert landscaping and inviting walking paths. Desert Canyon Business Park is in a wide and shallow site, so there were opportunities to group all of the buildings around a central parkway.

“We think Desert Canyon is set apart from the average business park in the valley,” Nigro said. “We went with a desert sophisticated architecture and colors to take advantage of the natural landscape. And Russell Road is a superior location with easy access.”
